The Folklore Society of Greater Washington is dedicated to preserving and promoting traditional folk arts in the Washington, DC metropolitan area Membership is open to all who support these goals upon payment of annual dues. Membership includes: Monthly newsletter -- full of FSGW and other DC area folk events -- delivered to your door eleven times a year. Free admission to the Member Programs held from September to May plus two contra dances, Reduced admission to weekly contra dances and English country dances, Reduced admissions to all FSGW special concerts, Reduced and priority admission at FSGW weekend festivals and dance camps, Reduced admission to many events sponsored by nearby societies, and the Opportunity to have fun with over 2,000 other folkies in the DC area. Annual Dues: Family: $45/year, $85/2-years, $125/3-years, $800/life Individual: $33/year, $62/2-years, $91/3-years, $550/life Student: $25/year Outside the DC metro area (newsletter only): $25/year. Ready? Simple. Just fill in your name and address information, add other family members, and select your membership type. You can pay by credit card or print the handy form and mail in a check. We look forward to having you with us. Already a Member? You can find your membership number on your membership card and on the label of your newsletter. You need that number to access the membership page and it is a great shortcut to signing up online.
